A connection of art and science
Since the creation of Patterns in the 1589, the work of pattern making has grown with new technologies and practices.
Modèle Atelier is the collection of experience from Lee Espinoza a technical designer in New York. Raised in Ohio and obtaining a degree in Kentucky, Lee has always been curious about the fashion world. Graduating in 2012 and moving to New York, there was a new field from pattern making that had taken over the job market known as technical design. Trial and error was key to the amount of success in knowing the fabrications, fit adjustments and development projects.
In 2018, a certificate of pattern making was awarded in recognition of professional services from the Fashion Institute of Technology. At present Modèle Atelier provides services in Fashion Mobile Photography, Pattern Making, Technical Design, Fashion Lessons and Graphics Design.
